Apprenticeship Programs

In partnership with the Virginia Department of Labor, Yvonne B. Miller Post-Secondary Programs is able to provide a structured work environment where students gain specific work skills through on-the-job training while earning pay. Establishing Registered Apprenticeship Programs at Bon Air is a valuable experience for students, to effectively help them transition back into the community, with employability skills and work as a productive citizen. Students will receive a nationally recognized credential, which consists of a completion certificate and Journey Worker Card. Our current apprenticeship programs:

Industry certification courses help our students to expand knowledge/skills, stay current in industry standards/practices, and gain a competitive advantage when pursuing a career. Our current certification courses are:

Enrichment Courses

Yvonne B. Miller Post-Secondary Programs offers students the opportunity to enroll in enrichment classes. These classes are designed to extend beyond classroom experiences and provide a deeper connection between the classroom and life skills. Our current enrichment courses are:

College Courses

We offer online courses in the areas of business, entrepreneurship, and management in partnership with J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
