Program Implementation
This division consists of highly qualified teams that include the Quality Assurance (QA) Unit, the Central Admission & Placement (CAP) Unit, the Virginia Juvenile Community Crime Control Act (VJCCCA) Unit, the Behavior Assessment Unit (BAU), the Violence Intervention Unit (VIU), and Behavioral Services Unit (BSU).
Inclusive within this division is the Central Classification & Review Committee (CCRC) process, mentoring program, and the responsibility of the Regional Service Coordination (RSC) Model falls within the QA Unit. Additionally, Juvenile Detention Centers (JDCs) are a major part of the CAP and QA Units responsibilities. This includes partnership and oversight of youth intake (or CAP Intake), Community Placement Programs (CPPs), Individual Bed Placements (IBPs), and Detention Reentry.
